The Tamil Nadu Co-operative Milk Producers’ Federation has invited consultant bids for approval processes related to a new 10 lakh litres-per-day dairy plant at Madhavaram. 

The proposed project will significantly boost milk-processing capacity and meet growing demand in Chennai and surrounding regions. 

Once commissioned, the plant will support farmers through improved procurement, reduced spoilage, and higher production efficiency. 

It also underscores the state’s commitment to modernising its dairy supply chain with advanced infrastructure.
