BHEL has secured an order for the Lakhanpur ammonium nitrate project, further diversifying its non-power business portfolio. 

The scope of work includes engineering, procurement, and execution of key plant systems. 

The project supports domestic production of ammonium nitrate, a critical input for mining and infrastructure development.
