Ather Energy, a prominent electric two-wheeler manufacturer, has formally partnered with the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, to bolster India's electric vehicle (EV) manufacturing ecosystem. 

This strategic alliance, part of the 'Build in Bharat' initiative, is designed to foster a supportive environment for manufacturing-focused startups and accelerate the growth of clean mobility in the country. 

The collaboration will involve a range of initiatives, including offering strategic mentorship to deep-tech startups, providing essential infrastructure support to companies within the EV value chain, and launching joint innovation programs like the Bharat Startup Grand Challenge. 

This comprehensive partnership aims to drive technological advancements, enhance domestic production capabilities, and position India as a global leader in sustainable transportation.
