Ashoka Buildcon achieves financial closure for Rs 1,391 crore NHAI project in West Bengal

Ashoka Bowaichandi Guskara Road Private Limited has successfully achieved financial closure for its significant Hybrid Annuity Mode (HAM) project with the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI). 

This crucial development paves the way for the commencement of construction on a vital economic corridor in West Bengal.

Ashoka Buildcon announced that its subsidiary had submitted all duly executed financing documents to NHAI. NHAI, in turn, confirmed via a letter dated July 7, 2025, that the Financial Close for the said project was noted on June 2, 2025.

The project in question involves the Development of a 4-lane Economic Corridor from Bowaichandi to Guskara-Katwa Road Section (Km 89.814 to Km 133.000) of NH 116A (Package-3) in West Bengal. The accepted bid project cost for this undertaking is a substantial Rs1,391 crore (excluding GST).

Under the HAM model, the construction period for this project is set for 910 days from the appointed date, followed by an operation period of 15 years from the Commercial Operation Date (COD).
