Andhra Pradesh is set to host four new defence-manufacturing units as part of its long-term plan to strengthen aerospace and defence capabilities. 

The facilities will focus on component manufacturing, MRO services, and specialised R&D, all of which will enhance self-reliance in defence production. 

These new units are expected to create a strong demand for skilled labour and attract investments in supporting technologies. 

The move positions Andhra Pradesh as a rising hub for high-value strategic industries and advanced engineering.
