Alpex Solar has announced a major expansion plan with the construction of a new 1.2 GW solar module factory in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh. 

The project, with an investment of ₹1.1 billion, will increase the company's total manufacturing capacity to 3.6 GW by the fiscal year 2026-27. 

This move aligns with India's renewable energy goals and positions Alpex Solar to capitalize on the growing domestic and international demand for solar energy solutions. 

The expansion is funded through a mix of internal accruals and credit facilities, alongside a planned preferential allotment of equity and warrants.
