Alpex Solar, a prominent manufacturer of solar photovoltaic (PV) modules in North India, has entered into a definitive procurement agreement with TP Solar Ltd. (a subsidiary of Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited) for the supply of solar cells with a minimum aggregate capacity of 300 megawatts (MW). 

This strategic partnership aims to bolster Alpex Solar's supply chain stability and support its ongoing expansion in solar module manufacturing.

The agreement is a crucial move for Alpex Solar, ensuring a consistent and reliable supply of solar cells, a key component in PV module production. 

This stability is particularly vital as the company continues to scale up its operations and meet the escalating demand in India's rapidly growing renewable energy sector.

"This long-term arrangement will reinforce supply chain reliability, bolster manufacturing capabilities, and align with our strategic roadmap for operational growth and enhanced market presence," an official statement from Alpex Solar noted.
