ACME Solar Holdings has secured a Rs 1,734 crore deal for a 50 MW Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) project from Tata Power-D. 

The project, awarded at a tariff of Rs 4.43 per unit, will use a combination of solar and battery energy storage systems (BESS) to ensure a reliable power supply, especially during peak hours.

ACME will have 24 months from the signing of the 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) to commission the project. The FDRE tender required the project to maintain a minimum annual Capacity Utilisation Factor (CUF) of 40 percent.
