Action Construction Equipment has formed a joint venture with Japan’s Kato Works to manufacture high-capacity cranes in India.

The partnership will focus on local production of advanced crane technologies for infrastructure and construction sectors.

The move supports India’s push for localisation of heavy equipment manufacturing.

It also aims to cater to growing demand from large infrastructure and industrial projects. The JV will serve both domestic and export markets
