Rockwell Automation has partnered up with Circulor to support Acculon Energy in advancing the next generation of battery storage technology. 

Acculon will integrate Circulor’s proven traceability technology and Rockwell’s digital solutions to monitor the origin and journey of critical materials—such as lithium, cobalt, nickel, and graphite—throughout the entire battery lifecycle. 

The solutions will be implemented at Acculon’s Ohio facility and will also help in creating digital battery passports for a wide range of commercial and industrial battery applications.

This collaboration highlights the importance of traceability, beginning from the selection of materials through to production and prototyping.
