Hindustan Construction Company (HCC) has won a Rs. 901-crore tunnel construction contract from the North Frontier Railway, further boosting its infrastructure order book. 

The project involves execution of challenging tunnels aimed at improving rail connectivity in difficult terrain across the Northeast. 

Enhanced railway infrastructure is expected to support faster movement of goods and passengers. 

The project also aligns with government efforts to strengthen strategic and economic connectivity in border regions.
