Bids have been invited for the development of warehousing facilities at 34 locations across India under the public-private partnership (PPP) model. 

The initiative aims to improve storage, handling, and logistics infrastructure across agricultural and industrial supply chains. 

Private participation is expected to bring modern technology, operational efficiency, and faster execution. 

The warehousing network will support reduction in post-harvest losses and logistics costs. 

This move aligns with the government’s broader logistics and infrastructure modernisation agenda.
