Executive Summary

A new 25 MW (AC) solar PV power plant project is planned to be set up in Bhojudih Coal Washery, Purulia, West Bengal at an estimated cost of Rs.1419.1 million. The project includes design, engineering, procurement and supply, construction and erection, testing, commissioning, associated transmission system, and comprehensive operation and maintenance for a period of five years. Bids for the project were invited by CIL Navikarniya Urja in May 2022, aimed at promoting renewable energy and sustainable development while also creating employment opportunities.
