Executive Summary

J Y Distillery is set to launch a new Grain-Based Distillery Project in the revenue estate of Village Hollongi, Papum Pare district, Arunachal Pradesh. The project aims to establish a facility for the production of 150 KLD (kilolitres per day) of Extra Neutral Alcohol (ENA), along with a 5.0 MW captive power plant to ensure energy self-sufficiency. With an estimated investment of Rs. 1,741.9 million, the project is scheduled to begin construction in December 2026 and conclude by December 2027. As of July 2025, the proposal has been submitted to the State Level Environment Impact Assessment Authority and is awaiting environmental clearance.
