Webley & Scott is set to establish a Rs. 300 crore ammunition manufacturing facility in the Lucknow Defence Corridor, strengthening defence production capabilities in Uttar Pradesh.

The project is expected to support domestic ammunition manufacturing and reduce reliance on imports in specific segments.

The Lucknow Defence Corridor has emerged as a key hub for attracting defence and aerospace investments under the Make in India initiative.

The facility is also likely to generate skilled employment opportunities and support ancillary defence manufacturing units.
