Webley & Scott is set to establish a Rs. 300 crore manufacturing unit in the Lucknow Defence Corridor, strengthening defence production activity in Uttar Pradesh.
The facility will focus on ammunition and defence-related manufacturing, supporting India’s push for self-reliance in the sector.
The Lucknow Defence Corridor continues to attract major domestic and international defence investments under the Make in India initiative.
The project is expected to create skilled jobs and encourage development of ancillary defence industries in the region.
It also reflects rising foreign participation in India’s expanding defence manufacturing ecosystem.
