Waaree Energies has operationalised a 3,000 MW solar module manufacturing facility in Gujarat, further expanding its production capacity. The plant is expected to cater to both domestic demand and export markets.

India’s push for self-reliance in solar manufacturing has accelerated investments in large-scale facilities. The new capacity will support utility-scale solar projects as well as rooftop installations.

Such expansions are critical to meeting India’s ambitious renewable energy targets.
