Lanxess is investing Rs. 150 crore to set up a lubricant additives manufacturing facility in Jhagadia, Gujarat.

The plant will strengthen Lanxess’ global production network and cater to rising demand from automotive and industrial sectors.

India’s lubricant additives market is expanding due to increasing vehicle penetration and industrial activity.

The investment also reflects growing global interest in India as a hub for specialty chemicals manufacturing and exports.
