JSW Steel and POSCO have formed a joint venture to set up a 6 million tonnes per annum steel plant in Odisha.
The project is expected to significantly enhance steel production capacity in eastern India.
Collaborations between global and domestic players are becoming common in capital-intensive sectors. The plant will support infrastructure demand and industrial growth.
