AGI Greenpac has commenced construction of a Rs. 1,000 crore aluminium can manufacturing facility in Hathras, Uttar Pradesh, marking a major expansion in its packaging business.

The upcoming plant is expected to cater to rising demand from the beverage and FMCG sectors, where aluminium cans are witnessing increasing adoption due to sustainability and recyclability advantages.

The project will strengthen domestic manufacturing capacity in metal packaging and reduce dependence on imports in certain segments.

The facility is also expected to generate significant employment opportunities and support ancillary industrial activity in the region.

The investment reflects growing confidence in Uttar Pradesh’s industrial ecosystem and infrastructure-driven manufacturing growth.
