TNPCB gives consent for expansion of Hydrofluoric Acid Plant at Cuddalore

The Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board has granted TANFAC Industries Limited the required Consent to Establish for the proposed increase in the capacity of the hydrofluoric acid plant at Cuddalore by 14,850 MT at an estimated project cost of Rs. 100 crore.

This will enable the company to carry out the suggested expansion plan within the anticipated 15–18 month implementation period.

Speaking about the receipt of getting the Consent to Establish, K. Sendhil Naathan, Managing Director of Tanfac Industries, said, “This is one of the important milestones in our ambitious growth plan and we are delighted on getting the Consent to Establish from the Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board and are thankful to the Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board for quickly granting the consent in short time. This will help us to complete the expansion plan go on stream as scheduled within 15 to 18 months.”
