In the last week and a half, the Neemuch-based Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation (MPIDC) has granted three businesses in the Jhanjharwada industrial area land.
Together, these sectors have offered to invest more than Rs 800 crore in the area over several phases, creating jobs for close to 70 people.
Two industries received letters of intent from MPIDC, while a motor rewinding unit received a letter last week.
An official from the industry department wishing anonymity said, “We have given land to three industries in the Jhanjharwada industrial area since the beginning of February. Total investment proposed by all the three units is Rs 855 crore.”
