Tata bags Jewar Noida airport’s construction contract

TPL was the lowest bidder among three contractors for the civil construction work at Noida International Airport in Jewar, Uttar Pradesh, this week.

Phase 1 of Noida Airport, located south of Delhi, includes a 90,000-square-meter Terminal 1, a 4150-meter-by-45-meter Code ‘E’ runway (Runway 10/28) with CAT III approach lighting and visual aids, a parallel end-to-end taxiway, an Air Traffic Control (ATC) building, a cargo facility, and commercial developments.

In April 2021, Yamuna International Airport Private Limited (YIAPL) began its bidding process (e-RFQ) with two EPC contracts: Package-1 for terminal building construction and Package-2 for airside, landside, and associated works.
