Tamil Nadu’s Tuticorin to get3 MW rated 13 wind turbine generators

Suzlon, a developer of renewable energy solutions, announced that First Energy, a Thermax Group company, has awarded them a 39-MW wind power project.

According to a corporate release, this order is a component of First Energy 5 Pvt Ltd’s 100-MW wind-solar hybrid project.

13 wind turbine generators (WTGs) with a hybrid lattice tubular (HLT) tower and a 3 MW rated capacity will be installed by Suzlon.

The project, which would be in Tamil Nadu’s Tuticorin district and be placed there, is anticipated to be completed in 2024.

Suzlon will comply with the terms of the agreement by providing the wind turbines (equipment delivery) and managing the project, including its erection and commissioning.
