Tamil Nadu’s Tuticorin to get 13 wind turbine generators

First Energy, a subsidiary of Thermax Group, has awarded a 39-MW wind power project to Suzlon.

According to a corporate release, this order is a component of First Energy 5 Pvt Ltd’s 100-MW wind-solar hybrid project.

13 wind turbine generators (WTGs) with a hybrid lattice tubular (HLT) tower and a 3 MW rated capacity will be installed by Suzlon.

The project, which would be in Tamil Nadu’s Tuticorin district and be placed there, is anticipated to be completed in 2024.
