Surat Airport terminal building extension nears completion

With 94% of the work finished, the development work for the expansion of the Terminal Building at Surat International Airport is in its final stages.

The Airports Authority of India (AAI), which oversees the Surat Airport, is currently upgrading and developing the airport’s infrastructure.

With a total expenditure of Rs. 353.25 crore, the project entails the enlargement of the Terminal Building, the Apron, and the building of a Parallel Taxi Track.

The development of the Terminal Building is nearing completion, with 94% of the work already finished. The project, valued at Rs. 138.48 crore, has been progressing steadily.

Simultaneously, The extension of the apron and construction of a parallel taxi track is nearly 72% completed. This particular project has been awarded at a cost of ₹63.13 crore.
