Sunpure to invest 365 crore on expansion drive

 

Sunpure, intends to invest 365 crore in growth over the following two years. Additionally, Rajasthan is being investigated for mustard production. The company is constructing a palm oil refinery and biodiesel facility in Mangalore for 250 crore, a refinery in South Maharashtra for 100 crore, and a crushing investment in Karnataka for 15 crore.

In Mangalore, the business is building a biodiesel factory, a bakery fats unit, an oleochemical facility (used to make cosmetics and lubricants), and a palm oil refining unit. Gokaran Singh Pawar, General Manager, Sales, Sunpure, stated that the 100-acre facility will be operational by March 2023.

During FY22, Sunpure’s revenue was at ₹2,700 crore, and in the current fiscal, it is expected to be over ₹3,000 crore, he said.
