SMS India Pvt Ltd is set to expand its steel equipment manufacturing operations in Odisha, with a new unit planned for Khurda district. This expansion aims to meet the increasing demand for steel plant equipment in the region. The project will establish a state-of-the-art facility capable of producing 4000 metric tons per annum (MTPA) of steel equipment.
With an investment of Rs. 1600 million, the expansion project will cover infrastructure development, machinery procurement, technology implementation, and other necessary expenses. The approval from The State Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA) confirms compliance with regulatory and environmental requirements.
