SJVN bags 200 MW solar project in Maharashtra

SJVN Ltd took part in the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (“MSEDCL”) tariff-based competitive bidding procedure and won the full stated capacity of a 200 MW solar project at a price of Rs 2.90/unit on a build-own-and-operate (BOO) basis through an e-RA on April 8, 2022.

After MSEDCL issues a LOI, the power purchase agreement must be signed. SJVN will use an EPC contract to create the Ground Mounted Solar Project anyplace in Maharashtra.

This project’s construction and development costs are estimated to be about 1,200 Cr. The project is anticipated to produce 455.52 MUs in the first year and approximately 10480.82 MUs in total over the course of 25 years.
