The Sandur Manganese & Iron Ores Limited‘s Board of Directors had taken into consideration and noted the modification to the Environmental Clearance (EC) granted by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (‘MOEFCC’) Government of India for the change in plant configuration and product mix for the Company’s plant located at Hanumanahalli Village, HosapeteTaluk, Vijayanagara District, Karnataka and had given in-principle approval for taking up the projects
The Board approved meeting the financing requirements through internal accruals and borrowings at its 360th meeting, which was held on November 10, 2022.
The Board had previously considered the Detailed Project Report (DPR) for DI pipe and had anticipated a capital outlay of about Rs 2,200 crore for the project.
