Pashchimanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited has given Salasar Techno Engineering Limited
(STEL) contracts worth about Rs 750 crore, the company announced on Tuesday (PVVNL).
According to the Revamped Reforms based and Result Linked Distribution Sector Scheme
(RDSS), the work orders are for the improvement of distribution infrastructure for loss reduction in
the Uttar Pradesh districts of Bulandshahar, Hapur, Baghpat, and Meerut.
According to the company, orders in Hapur and Bulandshahar were valued Rs. 403.85 crore,
while those in Meerut and Baghpat were for Rs. 344.61 crore. The overall amount is Rs 748.46
crore.
