Reliance to invest Rs 75K cr in UP, to expand 5G by year-end

Mukesh Ambani, the chairman of Reliance Industries (RIL), stated that his company would invest an additional Rs 75,000 crore in several areas in Uttar Pradesh.

Ambani stated during the opening ceremony of the Uttar Pradesh Global Investors Summit (GIS) 2023 in Lucknow that the state would gain 100,000 new job possibilities as a result of this new investment.

He stated that the additional investment was made on top of the Rs 50,000 crore that the Reliance Group has already promised to the state of Uttar Pradesh after 2018.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi had previously unveiled the expensive GIS, for which the state of Uttar Pradesh claimed to have received investment offers totaling Rs 32 trillion.
