NLC India has announced the incorporation of a subsidiary company to undertake its existing renewable energy projects.
On June 14, 2023, NLC India Renewables Ltd (NIRL) was established as a wholly-owned subsidiary, according to a statement from NLC India. According to NIRL, its parent company’s current renewable energy projects and assets will be transferred to NIRL.
The company will create power generating systems using unconventional and renewable energy sources, such as wind, hydro, solar, tidal, geothermal, biomass, steam, wave, waste, hybrid, or any other type, in addition to supporting the renewable energy industry in India and internationally.
The new company has been registered in Chennai and it will commence its business operations in due course.
