Nine construction companies bid for construction of new terminal at Saharanpur Airport

After the Airports Authority of India (AAI) opened technical proposals, nine construction firms submitted bids for the new terminal building at Saharanpur Airport in Uttar Pradesh.

The new terminal at Saharanpur will be built on a 65-acre plot of land within the active Sarsawa Air Force Station, just west of Saharanpur (view on Google Maps).

A new 111m × 73m apron for ATR-72 / Q400 type aircraft, a 23m taxiway, and a temporary air traffic control (ATC) tower are also part of the project.

In March 2022, AAI issued a tender for building work with a budget of Rs. 36.87 crore and a 300-day completion target.
