NHAI floats tenders for construction of four-lane highway

For the construction of a four-lane highway in the state of Uttar Pradesh, the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has issued two distinct invitations for bids.

Construction of a four-lane highway on the greenfield portion of NH-31: Package-I [from Hridaipur (0.000 km) to Shahapur (42.500 km)] is included in the project’s scope of work. The project is expected to cost Rs. 845.28 crore.

Another tender is for the building of the NH-31: Package-II [from Shahapur (42.500 km) to Pindari (78.150 km)] four-lane highway from Gazipur-Ballia- Uttar Pradesh/Bihar State Border. The project is expected to cost Rs. 845.28 crore.

Each project will take 24 months to complete
