• Riddhi Pharmaceuticals is planning to take up new active pharmaceutical ingredients manufacturing project in MIDC Tarapur, Village: Boisar, Dist.: Palghar, Maharashtra. The project involves manufacturing of active pharmaceutical ingredients & intermediate products with capacity 24300 Kg /Year. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.200 million. As of April 2020, environment clearance for the project is underway.
• Rajunichem is planning to take up new API manufacturing unit in Additional MIDC, Anandnagar, Ambernath (E), Thane, Maharashtra. The project involves establishment of API manufacturing unit with capacity 153 MT/M. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.150 million. As of April 2020, environment clearance for the project is underway.
• Lupin (Unit-2) is planning to take up a API unit expansion project in Pithampur, Dhar, Madhya Pradesh. The project involves expanding the APT unit with capacity 1464.8 Kg/Year. The project is estimated to cost Rs.905 million. As of June 2020, the company has received consent from the state pollution control authorities to establish the project
• Levantex Pharmaceuticals is planning to take up new API products manufacturing project in Chicholi MIDC, Solapur, Maharashtra. The project involves manufacturing of API products with capacity 690 TPA. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.95.5 million. The project received first level of environment clearance and as of May 2020, the proposal has been submitted to the ministry of environment and clearance for getting final environment clearance for the project. As of June 2020, the company is in the process of getting final environment clearance for the project.
• Amarjyot Chemical Corporation is planning to take up API manufacturing unit expansion project in Kolawade, Palghar, Maharashtra. The project involves expanding the API manufacturing unit form 25 TPM to 100 TPM. As of June 2020, environment clearance for the project is underway.
• Prolific Chemicals is planning to take up API intermediates expansion project in MIDC Tarapur, Palghar, Maharashtra. The project involves expanding the manufacturing capacity of API intermediates 658 TPM. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.66.082 million. On July 2020, environment clearance for the project is underway. As Of October 2020. the company is in the process of getting final environment clearance for the project.
• Balaji Chirex is planning to take up new active pharmaceutical ingredients project in Attivaram, Nellore, Andhra Pradesh. The project involves setting up new unit for manufacturing of active pharmaceutical ingredients with capacity 33.33 Kg. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.50 million. As of September 2020, the DPR approved.
• ZH Chemical is planning to take up new API & intermediate products manufacturing unit in MIDC Patalganga, Khalapur, Raigad, Maharashtra. The project involves setting up API & intermediate products manufacturing unit with capacity 684 MTPA. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.48 million. As of December 2020, environment clearance for the project is underway.
