The construction work of the fourth tunnel has started for the Delhi-Meerut RRTS corridor in Meerut.
Two Parallel tunnels are to be constructed from North shaft of Gandhi Bagh towards Begumpul.
Out of which, the construction work of one tunnel has already been completed.
Now the work of construction of second tunnel has been started by launching Sudardhan 8.3 from the north shaft by Afcons Infrastructure Limited.
Sudarshan 8.3 had also done breakthrough at Begumpul RRTS station in the month of October after successfully constructing 700 meter long tunnel from North shaft, Gandhi Bagn to Begumpul side.
