The Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation (MPIDC) has asked for 9,000 acres of land to create industrial areas alongside the proposed Delhi-Mumbai Expressway.
The corporation has selected government land along the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway as a viable location and has applied to the district administrations for transfer to the industries department. MPIDC is developing a land bank across districts in order to encourage industry investment.
MPIDC has filed for land in the districts of Neemuch, Mandsaur, Ratlam, and Jhabua.
