The groundbreaking ceremony (bhumi pujan) for Modi Naturals Limited’s greenfield ethanol distillery in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, was held recently. The business is constructing a cutting-edge distillery with a 210 KLD production capacity and a 6MW cogeneration power plant.
Modi Naturals Ltd. formed a 100 percent subsidiary (wholly owned subsidiary) called ‘Modi Biotech Private Limited’ to build up this plant (MBPL).
The Central Government has given MBPL in-principle clearance for a 210 KLD distillery for the production of ethanol, as well as signing an MOU with the Chhattisgarh government.
The Ministry of Environment, Forestry, and Climate Change has already given the project an environmental clearance (EC) (MoEF&CC).
