MMRDA to appoint design consultant for Mumbai Metro Line 12, tender issued

The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority has issued tender notice for appointment of detailed design consultant for depot and other associated works for Mumbai Metro Line 12 which is an extension of under construction Line 5.

Sources said that the scope of work includes selection of detailed design consultant for architectural and building services, which include electrical, mechanical, and civil works for depot, stations, staff quarters, operation control centre, and auxiliary structures in respect to Line 12 of Mumbai Metro Rail Project.

The estimated cost of work is Rs 11.285 crore with 4 years work completion period and the last date to submit bids is 2nd February 2023.

The 20.75 km corridor 12 will connect Kalyan APMC to Taloja with 18 elevated stations at Kalyan APMC, Ganesh Nagar, Pisavali Gaon, Golavali, Dombivali MIDC, Sagaon, Sonarpada, Manpada, Hedutane, Kolegaon, Nilaje Gaon, Vadavali, Bale, Waklan, Turbhe, Pisarve Depot, Pisarve and Taloja. The estimated cost of project is Rs 5,865 crore.
