Maharashtra Chief Minister Shinde signs Rs 88,420 crore MoUs at WEF

The Maharashtra government signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) worth Rs 88,420 crore with various companies at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland. The state government anticipates that these potential investments will contribute to the creation of 60,000 jobs in Maharashtra.

Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, who led the state delegation, signed the agreements.

Some of the companies with which the state government has signed the MoUs are Greenko Energy Projects Pvt Ltd, Berkshire Hathway Home Services Orenda India, ICP Investments/Indus Capital, Varad Ferro Alloys,Rajuri Steels, Alight Plast, Mahindra Electric Vehicle Automobile, Rcube-Ark Data centre and America’s New Era Cleantech Solutions, among others.

The government had earlier announced that it would be signing MoUs worth Rs 1.4 lakh crore with 20 companies in Davos.
