KDDL board of directors authorises expansion of Dials facility

The Board of Directors of KDDL Limited (“the Company”) discussed and authorised the expansion of the Dials facility in Derabassi, Punjab, during its meeting on Monday, May 30, 2022.

The development will increase the unit’s capacity by 0.5 million pieces per year, allowing it to better serve the medium-high watch portion of the Swiss watch market. The extension would cost Rs. 16 crore and will be completed in two parts over two years (in FY23 and FY24).

The board of directors approved the construction of a new facility in Bangalore to produce high-quality steel bands for watches (Karnataka).

The plant will cater exclusively to the mid and high end Swiss and European watches market and will involve a capital expenditure of Rs. 25 crore to be executed over next two years (in FY 23 and FY 24). The plant is intended to be set with a capacity of 100 k steel bracelets p.a.
