IndoSpace leases 50,000 sq ft space to LJM in Chennai

Lind Jensen Machinery (LJM) has been accepted as a tenant at IndoSpace, a developer and owner of Grade A industrial real estate and logistics parks, and 50,000 square feet of space has been leased in Chennai.

In Chennai’s Oragadam II, the hydraulic cylinder maker LJM will establish its first facility in India to manufacture hydraulic pitch, lock, and accumulator cylinders for the wind-turbine sector.

A total of €2 million has been invested in the project to date.

and IndoSpace stated in a statement that the unit will start trial production before the end of July.

This is LJM’s second plant in Asia; its first is located in China and is currently functioning.

“Through this endeavor, LJM intends to develop high-quality goods with long operational lives for both local and international markets. In its initial phase, LJM will be employing 40–50 workers at the Oragadam unit,” the statement added.
