India’s first high speed integrated multi modal corridor is likely to established in Gujarat with the 109 km long Ahmedabad-Dholera Expressway

Because of the incorporation of a rail line into a highway, this project could pave the way for an RRTS corridor connecting Ahmedabad with Bhavnagar via Dholera in the future.

The Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, recently visited Gujarat to check on the progress of Package 1 of the Ahmedabad-Dholera Expressway, which is still under construction.

The development of this 109-kilometer-long greenfield corridor will cost Rs 4,200 crore.

It will be a vital link between Ahmedabad and Dholera’s numerous special investment zones.
