Indian Oil to establish aviation fuel plant in partnership with US-based company

Indian Oil Corporation Chairman said that 80,000 tonnes of sustainable aviation fuel would be produced in Haryana in partnership with LanzaJet.

Approximately 23 billion rupees ($280.1 million) in investment is what the company is considering, S.M. Vaidya stated in New Delhi, off-the-cuff of an industry gathering.

The refiner is also running a pilot project for green fuel in association with Praj Industries in the western state of Maharashtra, Vaidya added.
