Haryana’s MET attracts 450 businesses and seven foreign brands over the year

In Haryana, Reliance Model Economic Township (MET) had a fruitful FY 2022–2023 and is now the fastest–growing smart city in North India.

The city attracted 450 businesses and seven foreign brands over the year. According to a release, more than 2,000 residential plots were also sold for individual residences, expanding the city’s possibilities.

A fully owned subsidiary of Reliance Industries, Model Economic Township Limited (METL) has created MET metropolis, an integrated smart metropolis. The city aspires to build infrastructure of the highest calibre and promotes ‘Walk to Work’ for its citizens.

According to reports, 76 new companies were added to the industrial sector, generating an investment of almost Rs 1,200 crore and the possibility of up to 8,000 new jobs.

These include Hamdard, Boditech form South Korea, and Nihon Kohden from Japan.
