GACL and GAIL sign MoU to build bioethanol facility in Gujarat

Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals Limited (GACL) and GAIL India inked an agreement to build a bioethanol facility in Gujarat with a capacity of 500 kilolitres per day.

The project is estimated to cost over 1,000 crores and earn around 1,500 crores in yearly income.

Harshad R Patel, Managing Director of GACL, and RK Singhal, ED (BD and E&P) of GAIL, inked a term sheet in New Delhi for the establishment of a bioethanol facility in Gujarat.
