EKI Energy Services Ltd and Shell Overseas Investments B.V. launched a joint venture firm in India to develop nature-based solutions to minimise greenhouse gas emissions. “EKI Energy Services Ltd (EKI) and Shell Overseas Investments B.V. (The Netherlands), a Shell plc affiliate, have partnered to develop Nature-based Solutions (NBS) in India,” according to a corporate release.
A firm called Amrut Nature Solutions Pvt Ltd with its registered office in Indore was formed as part of their joint venture.
To maintain environmental sustainability, Amrut Nature Solutions Pvt Ltd will seek to minimise greenhouse gas emissions by conserving, restoring, and enhancing natural ecosystems such as agriculture, forests, wetlands, grasslands, and blue carbon.
