The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has awarded RailTel two different contracts totaling Rs 68.86 crore for data centre management and cloud services, according to an official.
One of the contracts, worth Rs 26.87 crore, is for delivery, installation, and commissioning for data centre and networking infrastructure upgrade.
The other contract, for Rs 36.99 crore, is for the delivery, installation, and commissioning of DRDO on-premise cloud services.
RailTel Corporation of India Limited is a central government PSU of Ministry of Railways providing Information and Communications Technology (ICT) services.
DRDO is the country’s premier NSE 4.30 % research and development organisation under the Ministry of Defence.
