Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister to lay foundation stone for major projects

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, will lay the cornerstone for Bhogapuram International Airport. The Chief Minister will also officially break ground on the TarakaramaTeerthaSagar project, the Chintapalli Fish Landing Centre, and Vizag Tech Park Limited of the Adani Group during his trip to North Andhra.

The Bhogapuram airport would be finished in three years for a cost of Rs 4,592 crore and be able to accommodate 60 lakh people annually. Facilities will be improved gradually to handle more than 1.8 crore passengers annually, with a focus on the expansion of passenger traffic.

Vizag Tech Park will be set up at an estimated cost of Rs 21,844 crore. A 200 Megawatt Integrated Data Centre, Technology/ Business Park is being set up at Madhurawada at a cost of Rs 14,634 crore. Another 100 Megawatt Integrated Data Centre, Technology/Business Park will be set up at Kapuluppada at a cost of Rs 7,210 crore, thereby providing direct employment to 39,815 people and indirect employment to 10,610 people.
